Question: What does custom-made really mean?

Answer: At Pullman Furniture, custom-made means that your product has been made just for you. We do not have pre-cut frames or pre-cut leather. When we receive your order, we start the process of making your furniture. Because of this, you are also able to make changes, if you need to. For example, your riser is only 108" long and the seating you order measures 107". Pullman could adjust each of the seats widths -7/8" and give you a little extra room on the riser without really changing the seat width a lot. We specialize in making truly custom furniture. Question: How long does it take to receive my order?

Answer: From the time that your order is placed to the time you receive it, is typically 5-8 weeks. Please allow additional time for additional custom work or special order leathers/fabrics.

Question: What is the difference in the leather grades?

Answer: Leather is a natural by-product. Typically the least expensive leathers are corrected hides and have a protective coat that prevents stains from penetrating the hide. These leathers do not breath or adapt to your body temperature and usually aren't as soft. As you get into higher grades, they usually have not been corrected and are able to breath. This allows the leather to adapt to your body temperature and is very comfortable to sit on. Some leathers have a protective coating, which protects the leather from stains. While others have only been dyed.
